Job Description

Eatons Electrical Products Group is currently seeking aStreetworks Northeast Regional Sales Manager to join our team.

The Streetworks Northeast RegionalSales Manager is responsible for:

The attainmentof Division and Corporate goals of growth, profitability and market developmentof Eaton Lighting solution sales initiatives tied to the LED conversion market.This is achieved through coordinatingand directing the regional efforts of thepany and agent Utility, DOT, andMunicipal sales organizations while providing superior service to ourcustomers.

In this roleyou will:

  • Develop and rmendan annual sales plan and regional forecast the for the Utility/DOT/Munimarkets. Collects,piles and analyzespertinent information in order to establish realistic goals for the marketconsistent with overall division goals of growth and profitability. Meet or exceed sales goals.

  • Must possess theability to demonstrate and sell through to customers the positive impact of LEDand connected lighting product solutions in all covered market segments.

  • Promote and maintainsuccessful and profitable business relationships with current and potentialcustomers. Build relationships withUtilities, DOT, Municipalities, engineers, distribution partners and other keyplayers within the Utility/DOT/Muni markets to create focus on LED products andtechnologies.

  • Supports collaborationwith the Specifications, Energy Solutions, and National Accounts sales teamswhen LEDs are considered for projects. Collaborate with internal functions to ensurecustomer expectations are met.

  • This individual mustkeep current with legislative standards and regulations relating toenergy-efficient products, tax and rebate incentives, etc. Support national and regional standards groupsthat are driving LED standards in the Utility/DOT/Muni market; the goal will beto develop these relationships and secure Eatons position within thesestandards.


  • Qualifications

    Required (Basic) Qualifications :
  • Must be eligible towork in the United States withoutpany sponsorship

  • No relocation isoffered for this position; the candidate must reside in VA, WV, NY, CT, PA, NJ,RI, MA, VT or ME

  • Bachelors Degree froman accredited institution

  • A minimum of 8 yearssales-related experience

  • Experience using CRMand MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree froman accredited institution in Business Administration, Marketing Liberal Arts,Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 yearssales-related experience in the lighting products industry with exposure to LEDproduct lines/technology (Utility/DOT/Muni experience desirable). Low voltage system sales and connectedsolutions experience.

  • Position Criteria
  • Well-developedcommunication, interpersonal, motivational and organizational skills.

  • Understand anddemonstrate the ability to use CRM and MS Office applications such as Excel andPowerPoint to develop presentations/sales tools to assist in selling LEDproducts

  • Proven track record ofexceeding sales goals in prior positions

  • Ability to workremotely from home and manage all sales roles responsibilities from a homeoffice. Independent and organized.
